Additionally, work notices were prepared for the community and PG&E employees working at the Tracy Service Center (formerly the Tracy MGP Site) outlining the proposed activities to be conducted as part of the RI/SSI. 1.4 REPORT ORGANIZATION This Report is organized as follows: • Section 1.0—Introduction presents general information applicable to the RI and SSI, the overall purpose and objectives of this Report and its organization. • Section 2.0 — Setting and Background Information presents the location, setting, historical land use at the Site and a discussion of previous investigations conducted at the Site. • Section 3.0 — Site Investigation Activities presents an overview of the activities conducted at the Site; the procedures and methodology by which the RI and SSI were conducted; deviations from the April 2008 Workplan and/or Final Technical Memorandum; health and safety/air monitoring results; and the disposition of investigation derived waste generated during the implementation of the RI/SSI. • Section 4.0 — Analytical Results presents the laboratory results for soil, soil gas and groundwater samples collected during the RI/SSI; a delineation of MGP related impacts; and an assessment of the data quality. • Section 5.0 — Human Health Risk Assessment briefly describes the process for the development of the HRA including an HRA scoping meeting to be conducted with DTSC. • Section 6.0—Summary, Conclusions and Recommendations present a summary of the RI/SSI, conclusions based on the analytical results from the RI/SSI and recommends that the Site advance to the remediation phase. • Section 7.0 — References presents a listing of the documents and information used in preparation of this report. In addition to sections described above, tables and figures have been provided to assist the reader with visualizing the RI/SSI. Finally, the appendices for this report include the following: • Appendix A — VCA Docket No. HSA-VCA 07/08-072 provides a copy of the VCA under which this work is being completed; • Appendix B—Environmental Data Resources, Inc. (EDR) Database Report provides the environmental database records report for the Site, dated April 27, 2007; • Appendix C — Site Photos provides photos of the Site from the remedial investigation conducted at the Site; • Appendix D — Site Specific Health and Safety Plan provides the documentation on how the work at the Site was conducted in a safe manner; • Appendix E — Remedial Investigation Boring Logs and Well Completion Diagram provide documentation for the drilling of the soil borings and wells at the Site; PARSONS 8 FINAL RI REPORT-FORMER TRACY MGP APRIL 2010
