This well is the wastewater discharge point for the site and is regulated under
the U.S. EPA Region IX Groundwater Division. Staff appreciates the notification that the injection well
will be down for service and that any wastewater generated will be stored in above ground tanks.
Nonetheless, staff would like to remind the Discharger that Waste Discharge Requirements (WDRs)
Order No. R5-2004-0157 prohibits discharge of any wastewater to land or surface water. Prior to any
discharge in the future, a report of waste discharge must be submitted to the Board. If a discharge were
to occur without WDRs, it would be considered a violation of the California Water Code.
If you have any additional questions or problems regarding this matter, please contact me at
916-464-4679.
HOWA §!
Associate Engineering Geologist
cc: Mr. Eric Kruger, Kruger Foods, Inc., Stockton
Mr.Gorge Robin, USEPA Region IX, San Francisco
Mr. Mike Infuma, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, Stockton
MsNicki Krestsinger, Luhdorf& Scalamini,Woodland
Mr. Michael Yacyshyn, Bryan A.
