0
MOUNTAIN HOUSE DETENTION BASIN WELL INSTALLATION Page 3
WKA No. 6504.05
August 26, 2005
Waste Management
Investigative derived waste generated during the proposed field activities may consist of drill
cuttings, groundwater produced during drilling activities, and purge water generated during well
development and sampling activities. Constituents of concern are not expected to be encountered
during drilling and sampling activities. Soil will initially be stockpiled on plastic sheeting for
visual inspection and then spread out over the surface of the site. Purge water and groundwater
will be stored in appropriate containers until analytical data is evaluated to determine proper
disposal options.
SITE SPECIFIC SAFETY PLAN
Exposure to hazardous constituents is not anticipated during field activities presented in this
Workplan. However, adequate safety precautions will be followed for worker protection. All
contractors conducting well installation and sampling activities will be responsible for operating
in accordance with the most current California Occupational Safety and Health Administration
(OSHA) regulations, as well as other applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. A
project-specific Site Safety Plan that presents information to protect the investigative team as
well as the general public during field activities performed under this Workplan is included in
Appendix A.
LIMITATIONS
This Groundwater Monitoring Well Installation Workplan was prepared by Wallace-Kuhl &
Associates, Inc. on behalf of PCCP Mountain House, LLC in a manner consistent with the level
of care and skill ordinarily exercised by professional geologists and environmental scientists.
This Workplan was prepared under the technical direction of the undersigned, who is a
California-registered Professional Geologist.
The recommendations in this Workplan should be reevaluated if site conditions change.
