.AAL BRUNSING ASSOCIATES, INC. <br /> r `` 1607 Industrial Way,Belmont, CA 94002 <br /> (415) 637-0170 FAX (415)637-1196 <br /> August 25, 1992 2601 <br /> 1 It E tz' <br /> M Meas 9j <br /> San Joaquin County SEP p t 1992 <br /> Public Health Services ENVIRONMENTAL HEATH <br /> Environmental Health Division ����� � ��,8E <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> RE: QUARTERLY GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> DOANE PRODUCTS COMPANY <br /> 450 EAST GRANTLINE ROAD <br /> TRACY,CALIFORNIA <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY SITE #2441 <br /> Dear Ms Meays <br /> This quarterly groundwater monitoring report has been prepared by Brunsing <br /> Associates, Inc (BAI) on behalf of Doane Products, Company (DPC) for the site <br /> located at 450 East Grantline Road in Tracy California <br /> Sample Methods <br /> BAI sampled wells MW-1 and P-2 on July 23, 1992 Ms Mary Meays of the San <br /> Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS) was present to witness the <br /> sampling Prior to sampling , the wells were purged until pH, temperature and <br /> conductivity stabilized Groundwater samples were obtained in clean, single use <br /> disposable bailers using a VOC sampling port to minimize the disturbance of the <br /> sample The samples were placed in a laboratory supplied container, labeled and <br /> placed in a cooler containing blue ice The samples were transported under chain-of- <br /> custody procedures to BACE Analytical and Field Services (BAFS), a California EPA- <br /> certified laboratory <br /> At the time of sampling, approximately 90 gallons of purge and development water <br /> from wells MWA and P-2 were disposed of on-site Previous analytical testing of <br /> water from these wells reported no detectable concentrations of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons as reported to the SJCPHS in reports dated May 11, 1992 and April 5, <br /> 1992 The water was disposed after prior notification was made to Ms Meays. <br />
