The constituents of concern were not detected at the
appropriate detection limits.
Only one soil sample from the work performed in the preliminary assessment showed°detectable
levels of contamination. A mass balance of hydrocarbons remaining at the site was performed
based on this soil sample and is attached for your information and records.
The assessment at this site has revealed low levels of hydrocarbons in only one soil sample.
r The groundwater monitoring has not detected hydrocarbons in the shallow groundwater at the
site within approximately 10 feet of the former tank pit area. The limited volume of the
remaining hydrocarbons in the soil at this site do not pose a threat to groundwater quality, now or
in the future. As such,-beneficial uses of the groundwater aquifer are protected, now and in the
future.
Based on the above discussion, a formal regulatory closure is requested at this time.
Sincerely,
Eraclis Tsirelas
i
..r...-..ti
copies to:
CVRWQCB, Beth Thayer
SWRCB Cleanup Fund Program, Annabel Mackey r
