t
Clayton
I\1'lHt 1S.11F%IA„
- CUvSULfAufS
Clayton spc;culales that the oil and grease found in MW-1 and MW-2 may have
come from oil-based sprays applied to the site for{agricultural purposes
• Low levels of gasoline and the volatile hydrocarbons ethyIbenzene and xylene
were found in the water sample retrieved from MW-3. These levels do not
__- exceed the California DHS action levels. Clayton concludes that the presence
Of hydrocarbons in MW-3 are almost certainly caused by the presence of the
US'C
-- Pesticides and PCBs were below detection limits in all three wells.
• Groundwater depths range from appromately 8 to 10.5 feet bgs in the wells.
The groundwater flow direction is almost directly north. Groundwater
is 0.3 gradient
ft/100 ft.
• Kaprealian Engineeiing, Inc.installed a groundwater monitoring well near the
former location of the UST in 1986. Groundwater was analyzed for gasoline,
benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene but none of these compounds were
detected. A review of the Kaprealian Engineering, Inc. report revealed that
they probably install:r. the well on the upgradient side of the UST, which
explains why they dic,not find detectable levels of hydrocarbons.
6.0 DISCLAIW—R
The information and opinions rendered in t1iis report are exclusively for your use
and will not be distributed or published without your consent..
