PHS/EHD comments
follow and should be addressed in the next quarterly report.
1. Labelled drums containing soil cuttings from monitoring
wells MW-11, MW-12 and MW-13 may be disposed of on-site.
2. Labelled drums containing soil cuttings from monitoring
well MW-14 must be resampled to verify that the soil is
not contaminated. Toluene, 9 parts per million (ppm) ,
was detected in the July 1988 analysis.
3 . The stockpiled soil must be sampled to verify that the
soil is not contaminated by petroleum hydrocarbons.
4 . The information requested in the FRP/PAR is
outlined in the Tri-Regional Recommendations, Appendix A,
Reporting Requirements. A copy is enclosed for your
information.
5. Prepare an executive summary/abstract of your FRP.
Please submit three copies of the draft FRP and executive
summary/abstract to PHS/EHD by December 16, 1991.
Pursuant to Section 280.67, Subpart 17 of 40CFR of the
Federal Register, PHS/EHD will conduct public notice to
consider comments on your Draft FRP.
A DMsion of San Joaquin County Health rare Services
