From October 30, 1986 to December of 1988 this location
continued with retail gasoline sales., using two (2)
tanks.
Regular (north ofthree)
Unleaded (center of three) .
Abandoned/closed (south of three)
All tanks were abandoned during December of 1988.
You will find a sketch has been enclosed which identi-
fies the tank assignment at this location and the change
g g
that occurred. For your review, a scaled site plan is
also enclosed, as builts of the original piping plans
are non-existent.
Item #2 Documentation of disposal of purged
groundwater and soil cuttings
You will find waste manifests are enclosed for all .
wastewater generated.
You will find waste manifests are enclosed for all soil
which was identified as contaminated.
Item #3 Luft manual procedures-
No comment
Item #4 Removal of underground storage tanks-
My records indicate that a Mr. William Snavley of the
San Joaquin County Environmental Health`District was on
site on March 14, 1989 for an inspection.. ' -It is my
recollection that a negotiation was made with Mr.
Snavely that no soil samples be taken because of the
water present in the tank vault and because of the
amount of site assessment work -which -had previously been
completed to characterize the site.
-
Monitor number 7 which was installed at -a location which
was previously known as well "B" . well "B" was
installed within the original tank excavation. Well 7
was drilled to a depth of 12 ' below grade surface and -
therefore did not extend more than l', foot into native
material. The removal of well #7 during the tank exca-
vation was unavoidable. Construction details for moni-
toring well 7 are enclosed.
t
