Alternatives. which meet all of
these screening criteria will be recommended for further
technical and cost evaluations.
` Part B - Technical and Cost Evaluations of Selected
$emedial Alternatives
Part B will involve conceptual design and cost estimates for
design and implementation of the selected soil and ground-
water remediation alternatives. . The.cost estimate, for bud
geting. will be developed on the basis of capital equipment,
installation, operation, maintenance and engineering costs.
;y A present-worth analysis, using an assumed period of reme-
dial action, .will also be performed for each selected reme-
dial alternative.
Using the results of detailed technical and cost evaluations
(Parts A and B) , remedial technologies or a. combination of .
technologies will be recommended for detailed design and im-
plementation at the s
rte. . .
z Upon completion of Tasks 1 through 5, HLA will p=spare a re
part that summarizes studies performed data
and
our conclusions and recommendations with respecttoremedial
alternatives. This report will also present in one report
the information required in the Preliminary_. and Problem noble
ses$;nent Reports. m As-
<T
