In the interest of this, <br /> SJC/EHD has approved installation of the proposed shallow ground water monitoring <br /> wells as necessary and will comment that the proposed work is not adequate, to meet the <br /> needs of this site and SJC/EHD directives. installation of the monitoring wells as <br /> described in the August 22, 2003 SJCIEHD correspondence, and initiation of quarterly <br /> groundwater monitoring and sampling must be completed no later than <br /> November 14, 2003. You are hereby directed to submit to this office a work plan <br /> addendum to conduct vertical assessment of.the dissolved MtBE plume on-site within 14 <br /> days of the date of,this letter, or this site may be referred to the San Joaquin County <br /> District Attorney for enforcement action and/or the Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board for-their consideration for issuance of a Cleanup and Abatement Order. <br /> The work plan addendum must include an acceptable timetable for conducting the vertical <br /> investigation and reporting the results and findings. <br /> Please proceed with submittal of a San Joaquin County Well Permit Application and <br /> required $89.00 permit fee, and with scheduling the approved work.
