Per San Joaquin County well standards, any wells in areas of known contamination must be <br /> destroyed by overdrilling and removing all contents of the original borehole, followed by sealing <br /> with grout applied via tremmie pipe. At this site wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-5 and MW-10 have <br /> reported concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbon contamination above acceptable maximum <br /> contaminant levels (mcl), and therefore must be destroyed by overdrilling. <br /> 2. Wells MW-3, MW-4, MW-6, MW-7 and MW-1 may be destroyed by pressure grouting as <br /> outlined in the Work Plan. <br /> 3. Please proceed with submittal of San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD) well permit applications, fees and access agreements and with scheduling the work. <br /> 4.
