I20 October 200 <br /> • AGE-NC Project No 95-0111 <br /> Page 8of8 <br /> • A volume-mass calculation using the data collected during investigation of the former UST <br /> area, yields approximately 24 gallons of TPH-g and 400 gallons of TPH-d in the remaining <br /> impacted soil at the site(Appendix D) An average concentration of 34 mg/kg of TPH-g and <br /> 152 mg/kg of TPH-d was used to calculate the total volume of,remaining hydrocarbons in <br /> Iimpacted-soil <br /> • A sensitive receptor survey identified four domestic water wells near the site Two domestic <br />' water wells were observed at 2450 and 2480 Taste Road The remaining two domestic water <br /> wells were observed at 2040 and 2120 Grant Line Road Additionally, 18 ground water <br /> monitoring wells were observed at 3 different locations <br />' • AGE concludes that petroleum hydrocarbons remaining beneath the site appear to pose <br /> minimal risk to human health and should not negatively-effect beneficial use of ground water <br />' down-gradient from the subject site <br />' 7.0. RECOMMENDATIONS <br />' Based upon data collected from the site, AGE recommends the following <br /> ® No further subsurface investigation at this time <br />' • Consideration of the facility for closure as a low risk ground water site <br /> Abandon monitoring wells In accordance with applicable regulations as part of the site <br />' closure preparations <br />' 8.0. LIMITATIONS <br />' Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by <br /> environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based mainly <br /> upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the <br />' geologic/hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation were made from <br /> a limited number of available data points(i a monitoring well ground water samples, soil samples), <br /> and subsurface conditions may vary away from these data points No other warranty, expressed or <br />' implied, is made as to the professional recommendations contained in this report <br />' Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc <br /> 1 <br />
