INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Joe Toste Jr of JT Storage, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has <br />' prepared this Closure Summary Report(CSR)summarizing field activities conducted at 2420 Grant <br /> Line Road, Tracy, California Based upon the results of Investigations of the former underground <br /> storage tank area at the site, it is AGE'S opinion that a site closure is warranted for this facility The <br />' site setting Is illustrated on Figure 1, the former underground storage tank locations, site building <br /> structures and existing monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br />' This CSR has been prepared In accordance with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines (Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations For Preliminary <br /> Investigations and Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites) for No Further Action Requests (See <br />' Appendix A) <br />' 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> lieThree underground storage tanks(UST's) were removed from the site in June 1993 Based on field <br /> observations and analytical results of soil samples collected during the tank removals, the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) directed that a subsurface Investigation <br />' be performed at the site to delineate the vertical and horizontal extent of the petroleum hydrocarbon- <br /> impact <br />' 21 SITE LOCATION <br />' The site is located on the southeast comer of Grant Line Road and Toste Road in west Tracy, <br /> California (Figure 1) Interstate 205 Is located approximately 1,000 feet northwest of the site The <br /> site is currently occupied by a gasoline service station and mini-mart establishment <br /> I <br /> 2 2 UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL <br />' On 20 May 1993 soil samples were collected from beneath the former product lines at the site <br /> Y � p <br /> Analysis of the soil samples Indicated that hydrocarbon impacted soil was present in the area of the <br />' former product lines The investigation was performed and reported by Advance Soil Technology, <br /> Inc (AST) On 30 June 1993,two 7,500-gallon unleaded gasoline tanks and one 5,000-gallon diesel <br />' underground storage tanks (UST's) were removed from the site by Walton Engineering <br />' Advanced GcoEnvironmental Inc <br /> I <br />
