INTRODUCTION <br />' In accordance with a request from Mr Joe Toste, Geological Audit Services, Inc (GeoAudit) <br /> conducted field activities at 2420 Grant Line Road in Tracy, California Advanced <br /> GeoEnvsronmental, Inc (AGE)was subsequently retained to prepare a Quarterly Report of the field <br />' data collected by GeoAudrt The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 A plan of the site is <br /> illustrated in Figure 2 <br />' The quarterly monitoring was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br />' Control Board(CVRWQCB) guidelines for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> 21 SITE LOCATION <br />' The site is located on the southeast corner of Grant Line Road and Toste Road in a rural area west <br /> of Tracy, California(Figure 1) Interstate 205 is located approximately 200 feet northwest of the site <br /> IThe site is currently occupied by a gasoline service station and mini-mart establishment <br /> 22 SITE ASSESSMENT <br /> It is our understanding that on 20 May 1993, soil samples were collected from beneath the former <br /> product lines at the site by Advanced Soil Technology(AST) Analysis of the soil samples indicated <br /> that hydrocarbon impacted soil was present in the area of the former product lines <br /> On 30 June 1993,three underground storage tanks (USTs)were removed from the site two 7,500- <br /> gallon unleaded gasoline tanks and one 5,000-gallon diesel tank The tanks were removed by Walton <br /> Engineering • During removal of the USTs, ground water was encountered in the excavation, <br /> necessitating collection of water samples Analysis of the ground water samples indicated that ground <br /> water had been impacted <br /> IOn 5 January 1994, five soil bonngs were drilled at the site by AST Three of the bonngs were <br /> completed as two-inch diameter ground water moritonng wells Laboratory analysis of soil samples <br /> I ` <br />
