i a
t
• 10 December 1998 y
AGE-NC Protect No 95-0111
' mass of dissolved hydrocarbons has stabilized or has possibly been reduced
• Relatively high concentrations of TPH-d,in MW-4 and MW-5 demonstrate a the resence '
of a persistent plume of dissolved diesel fuel in ground water
• The cross-gradient extent of the TPH-d and TPH-g impacted ground water is not known
• Based on the sporadic detections of low concentrations of hydrocarbons in samples from
MW-6, if any are detected at all, it appears that the well is near the down-gradient extent of
Ithe plume of dissolved hydrocarbons, and that the plume is stable
' 5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
' Based on present site conditions, AGE recommends
• Additional momtonng wells should be installed east of MW-5 and west of well MW-4 along
l
Grant Lane Road as directed by the PHS-EHD to evaluate the hydrocarbon-impact on ground
ie water beyond these wells
' • Quarterly monitoring and sampling should continue at the site The next quarterly monitoring
should be scheduled for December 1998 or soon thereafter if additional wells are installed
in the City of Tracy nght-of-way
I `
6.0 LIMITATIONS
' Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
' environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon
analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the geologic/hydrogeologic
conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation were made, er from a limited numbof
available data points (a a ground water monitoring well samples) and subsurface conditions may
' vary away from these data points No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the
professional recommendations contained in this report
I
I
Advanced GeoEnvi ronmental Inc
I
