A r •. ` i i f f f <br /> 7 <br /> l <br /> u <br /> 23 September 1998 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 95-0111 <br />' Page 4 of 4 <br />' concentrations of dissolved hydrocarbons within the plume and near the down gradient edge <br /> of the plume have been detected for the first time this quarter The current detections of <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons in the sample from MW-6 may be due to the recently lowered <br />' laboratory method detection limits Future monitoring events should help determine how the <br /> - detected petroleum hydrocarbons in MW-6 relate to plume stability <br /> t <br /> 4 2 RECOMMENDATIONS <br />' Based on present site conditions, AGE recommends <br />' • Additional monitoring wells should be installed east of MW-5 and west of well MW4 along <br /> Grant Line Road as directed by the PHS-EHD A Work Plan Addendum has been approved <br /> for the installation of these wells AGE therefore recommends securing the necessary city <br />' permits and commencing with the well installations <br /> • ConsuIt with the PHS-EHD to determine if ground water and soil remediation will be <br />'• required on the site, if so, feasibility testing should be performed to evaluate various <br /> remedial alternatives <br />' e Quarterly monitoring and sampling should continue at the site The next quarterly monitoring <br /> should be scheduled for September 1998 <br /> S.D. LIMITATIONS <br />' Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by <br /> environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon <br /> analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the geologic/hydrogeologic <br /> conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation were made from a limited number of <br /> available data points (i a ground water monitoring well samples) and subsurface conditions may <br />' vary away from these data points No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the <br /> professional recommendations contained in this report <br /> Advanced GcoEnvironmental Inc. <br />
