Notification of Intent to Export <br /> (a) A primary exporter of RCRA hazardous waste shall concurrently notify U.S. EPA and send a copy of that notification <br /> to the Department of an intended export before such waste is scheduled to leave the United States. A complete <br /> notification shall be submitted sixty (60) days before the initial shipment is intended to be shipped off site. This <br /> notification shall cover export activities extending over a twelve (12) month or lesser period. <br /> (b) (b)A primary exporter of non-RCRA hazardous waste shall notify the Department of an intended export before such <br /> waste is scheduled to leave the United States. A complete notification shall be submitted four weeks before the initial <br /> shipment is intended to be shipped off site. This notification shall cover export activities extending over a twelve(12) <br /> month or lesser period. The notification shall be in writing and signed by the primary exporter <br /> §66262.57. Recordkeeping. <br /> (a) For all hazardous waste exports to a foreign country from the State a primary exporter shall: <br /> (1) keep a copy of each notification of intent to export for both RCRA hazardous waste and non-RCRA hazardous waste <br /> for a period of at least three years from the date the hazardous waste was accepted by the initial transporter, <br /> (2) for RCRA hazardous waste, keep a copy of each EPA Acknowledgment of Consent for a period of at least three <br /> years from the date the hazardous waste was accepted by the initial transporter; <br /> (3) keep a copy of each confirmation of delivery of the hazardous waste from the consignee for at least three years from <br /> the date the hazardous waste was accepted by the initial transporter, and <br /> (4) keep a copy of each annual report for a period of at least three years from the due date of the report. <br /> Immediately locate copies of all aforementioned documents pertaining to the hazardous waste export from this facility. <br /> maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Consent to perform the inspection, take photos and collect samples was given by Mr. Steven Sasson. Although <br /> consent for sampling was granted, since this is a secure facility and the sampling equipment was not on the <br /> pre-approved equipment list upon facility entry, no samples were collected at the time of inspection. <br /> The routine inspection began on September 4, 2014 and continued on September 9, 2014, and was completed on <br /> September 23, 2014. A checklist of findings was provided to the facility on each aforementioned date and a final <br /> report was delivered to the facility on October 9, 2014. ' <br /> NOTES: <br /> a � <br /> 1 Thirteen eyewash stations were found to be not properly inspected and were conseq46htly inspected during <br /> the facility walk through.
