Golden State Developers Inc. ("GSD") is the owner of Cordes Ranch, and GSD <br /> is concerned about the limited scope of work presented in the Risk Assessment. <br /> The Purpose of the Risk Assessment is "to evaluate the human health and ecological risks that are likely <br /> to be present at [Cordes Ranch] es a result of the identified soil and groundwater impacts" The specific <br /> goals of the Risk Assessment are to (1) identify what portions of Cordes Ranch may need remediation, <br /> and (2) provide a basis for the appropriate level of cleanup to protect human health, ecological health, <br /> and groundwater quality. The exposure assessment will address future industrial/commercial and <br /> construction/utility workers. <br /> Importantly, it is possible that in the future that all or portions of Cordes Ranch could be used for <br /> residential development.
