(GTI ) is pleased to submit this <br /> proposal for the additional sampling of the three existing <br /> groundwater monitoring wells located at 1140 West Hammer Lane , <br /> Stockton, California . Sampling is proposed to be completed <br /> during the first week of June , 1988 . This proposal is submitted <br /> in response to your verbal request for an additional round of <br /> sampling at your site . The additional work steps proposed by GTI <br /> in a letter entitled Sampling Results , Knowles Gas Station, 1140 <br /> West Hammer Lane , Stockton, California , dated February 17 , 1988 <br /> would be postponed pending results of this latest round of <br /> sampling . <br /> The 3 monitoring wells would be purged and sampled, with <br /> groundwater samples submitted to Groundwater Technology <br /> Environmental Laboratory ( GTEL) , in Concord, California, ,for <br /> analysis . The samples would be analyzed for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons ( TPH) (as gasoline) and benzene , toluene , <br /> ethylbenzene and xylene ( BTEX) concentrations . The sample <br /> results and a brief explanatory letter will be forwarded to you <br /> after approximately 7 days ( expedited service) or 3 weeks <br /> (standard service) after the sampling date . For verbal <br /> communication of the results , the following turnaround time frame <br /> applies : 48 hours for expedited service , and 2 weeks for <br /> standard service .
