Walker : <br /> Groundwater Technology, Inc . (GTI ) presents this work plan in <br /> response to a request from the California Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board, Central Valley Region (CRWQCB-CVR) to provide <br /> further definition of groundwater conditions at the above <br /> referenced site , and completion of a "Problem Assessment Report" . <br /> CRWQCB-CVR has requested that a work plan be developed and <br /> submitted to their office, and the San Joaquin Local Health <br /> District (SJLHD) prior to completing the problem assessment phase <br /> of this investigation. <br /> On July 21 , 1988 , GTI submitted a report entitled "Preliminary <br /> Report , Subsurface Hydrocarbon Investigation, Knowles Gas <br /> Station, 1140 West Hammer Lane, Stockton, California" to the <br /> CRWQCB-CVR. The report included information from the drilling <br /> and sampling of eleven soil borings and the drilling , instal- <br /> lation, monitoring, and sampling of three groundwater monitoring <br /> wells on site (Figure 2 , Attachment I ) . The preliminary report <br /> detailed the following site conditions : <br /> Soil encountered in all bore holes at the site con- <br /> sisted of clays , silts , and clayey to silty sands , to <br /> the total depth explored. <br /> Soil samples collected at 5-foot intervals in the <br /> boring for SB-1 , located within the tank pit , revealed <br /> Offices throughout the U.S..Canada and Overseas <br /> A. <br />
