All of their reports have the address as 7835 Thornton,
and then we assumed consulting duties from them. GeoTracker records end there.
I did not verify this with a file review(pre-Geotracker), but what Harlin Knoll told me about this is that an environmental
investigation was done a long time ago as part of a real estate issue. The property line was then re-drawn and the
property was subdivided, with the contaminated site getting the parcel number 077-490-27. Your map appears to
confirm the property subdivision, although we still have the conflicting addresses.
From: Gabriel Gonzalez [EH] fmailto:gagonzalez0sjcehd.com]
Sent: Friday, May 15, 2015 3:21 PM
To: Scott
Cc: Nuel Henderson [EH]; Adrienne Ellsaesser [EH]
Subject: RE: Knowles Property, Hammer Lane
Good afternoon Scott,
I have discussed the address situation and the Statement of Clarification with Nuel and EHD director Linda Turkatte.
According to information from the San Joaquin County Assessor's Office, the situs information for parcel ID 07749027 is
presented as "1140 W Hammer," as of today(May 15, 2015). Please see the attached Parcel Viewer image containing
this information. Therefore, the address issue should be brought to the attention of the San Joaquin County Assessor's
Office and Edwin Clock.
If Stratus deems it necessary, Stratus could remove reference of"1140 West Hammer" from the Statement of
Clarification all together, and simply refer to the site using the parcel number and include a site map marking the
Knowles parcel as the referenced site. Stratus may request removal of the public notice from Geotracker and reupload it
without reference to "1140 West Hammer." As far as the EHD is concerned, the public participation period for the
pending case closure continues as is. Again, records available through the Assessor's Office indicate the parcel is still
considered "1140 W Hammer." Please let me know how you decide to proceed.
Stratus reports have referred to the subject site as "a.k.a. 7835 Thornton Road" for some time. Where did this
information come from?
Sincerely,
Gabriel Gonzalez, REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209)468-3442
Email: gagonzalez@sicehd.com
i
