GROUND ZERO ANALYSIS, INC. 1714 Main Street Escalon, California 95320-1927 Telephone (209) 8 Facsimile (209)838-938-9 8833 MAY 2 4 2002 May 21, 2002 ENVIROWENT HEALTH PERMIT/SERVICES Mr Harlin Knoll San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor Stockton, CA 95202 Subject Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report January 1, 2002 through March 31, 2002 Knowles Property, 1140 W Hammer Lane, Stockton, CA Dear Mr Knoll This report summarizes activities at the subject site (Figure 1) during the period January 1, 2002 through March 31, 2002 Activities during the reporting period included re-surveying all site wells using global positioning system equipment pursuant to AB 2886, monitoring depth to water in all site wells, purging and sampling wells MW 1, MW3, MW4, and MW5, analyzing samples for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes (BTEX), and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), and disposing of wastewater stored at the site SITE ACTIVITIES Monitoring Well Survey As required by AB 2886, all monitoring wells were surveyed by a Registered Surveyor to a horizontal accuracy of less than one meter and a vertical accuracy of 0 01 feet In February 2002, Morrow Surveying surveyed the latitude and longitude of the site wells relative to the North American Datum (NAD83), and surveyed the wellhead elevations relative to City of Stockton Benchmark No 2N-2 A site map showing monitoring well locations, latitude and longitude coordinates and wellhead elevations is included in Attachment A Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling A Ground Zero technician measured the depth to groundwater in each site well on February 8, 2002 The depth to groundwater beneath the site ranged from 31 67 feet below ground surface G 1Data1GROUNDZE\KNOWLES K&MIREP0RTMQMR11QM2002 doc
