BOX 2007 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201-2007 <br /> INSPECTION REPOR T, WEST COAST TOMATO OF CALIFORNIA, STOCKTON, SAN JOA 0UIN <br /> COUNTY <br /> On 19 September 20011 conducted an inspection of the West Coast Tomato of California wastewater <br /> treatment system. A site inspection photograph log is enclosed with this letter. <br /> The following observations were made during the site inspection: <br /> • West Coast Tomato was packing tomatoes on the date of the inspection. West Coast Tomato <br /> packs whole tomatoes. <br /> • Wastewater generated at the site consists mostly of flume (transport) water and rinse water. <br /> • The flume water is chlorinated using sodium hypochlorite; the water is dechlorinated using sodium <br /> bisulfite prior to discharge. <br /> • At the time of the inspection, most of the land application area was covered with gravel. <br /> • Wastewater is applied by sprinklers that are either attached to the property.fencing or are mounted <br /> on movable sprinkler heads on tripod stands. <br /> • An adequate berm surrounded the wastewater application area to contain wastewater. <br /> • No objectionable odors were noted in the application area. <br /> If you have any questions on this information, please telephone me at (916) 255-3116. <br /> TIMOTHY R.
