A site inspection photograph log is enclosed with this letter.
The following observations were made during the site inspection:
• West Coast Tomato was packing tomatoes on the date of the inspection. West Coast Tomato
packs whole tomatoes.
• Wastewater generated at the site consists mostly of flume (transport) water and rinse water.
• The flume water is chlorinated using sodium hypochlorite; the water is dechlorinated using sodium
bisulfite prior to discharge.
• At the time of the inspection, most of the land application area was covered with gravel.
• Wastewater is applied by sprinklers that are either attached to the property.fencing or are mounted
on movable sprinkler heads on tripod stands.
• An adequate berm surrounded the wastewater application area to contain wastewater.
• No objectionable odors were noted in the application area.
If you have any questions on this information, please telephone me at (916) 255-3116.
TIMOTHY R.
