w
Giottonini
Page 2
1740 Houston Avenue
I.
A revised work plan and permit application will be submitted next week.
i
Fire Stations
Work plans dated May 29, 1996 were submitted to PHS/EHD on July 17, 1996. PHS/EHD stated that
review of the plans was not completed, but that permit applications should be submitted. PHS/EHD i
indicated that some of the sites would not require the scope of investigation which were proposed and
that PHS/EHD would prepare specific comments for each site and include any comments with drilling
permits.
134 Sutter „
PHS/EHD stated that one soil boring, sampled appropriately, should provide sufficient information to
evaluate the residual soil contamination which was observed by the PHSIEHD inspector on site at the
time of the limited aver-excavation. It was discussed that a slant boring or probing could be done
' instead of drilling in the Parking District's office. PHS/EHD further indicated that if a permit
application and revised work plan was submitted the work could be scheduled in conjunction with the
work associated with the COS Fire Stations.
The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 4, 1997 at 1:30 p.m. and will be held at the PHS/EHD
office.
Should you have any questions or disagree with this summary, please contact either Margaret Lagorio at (209)
468-3449 or Mary Meays at (209) 468-0337.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Mary Meays, Senior REHS Margaret hAgorio, REHS
Site Mitigation Unit Supervisor
MMICOS
cc: Elizabeth Thayer, CVRWQCB
cc: Jim Escobar, COS Public Works
cc: Bob Murdoch, COS Public Works
r
i
i ,
