Site Code : 1993 <br /> French Camp, CA <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS/EHD) has recently reviewed activities to date at the <br /> above mentioned site, and the "Quarterly Status Report" dated <br /> August 15, 1994, submitted by Wallace - Kuhl. and Associates Inc. <br /> Pursuant to Section 2652 (d) of the Underground Storage Tank <br /> Regulations (California Code of Regulations, Title 23 , chapter 16) <br /> a quarterly monitoring report shall be submitted to PHS/EHD and <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) until <br /> the investigation and cleanup of the site is deemed adequate. <br /> As per correspondence from PHS/EHD to Mr. James Essick of Granite <br /> Construction Co. dated January 24, 1994, no further excavation is <br /> needed in the former dispenser area. PHS/EHD will continue to <br /> monitor the gradient direction. Previous gradient direction <br /> measurements include: <br /> 3/26/93 - NE <br /> 10/93 - NW <br /> 1/7/94 - NW <br /> 4/4/94 - NW <br /> 7/7/94 - NW <br /> Additional monitoring wells are needed at this time . A downgradient <br /> monitoring well to the northwest of monitoring well #2 and an <br /> upgradient well from monitoring well #1 shall be constructed. Soil <br /> shall be sampled during construction of these wells in order to <br /> obtain a "Zero Line" of soil contamination. Additional soil <br /> investigation is also needed to the southwest of the former tank <br /> pit area. <br /> A well survey shall be conducted to determine any well influences <br /> within 2 , 000 feet of the site. The proximity of private, municipal, <br /> and irrigation wells shall be included in the report . Also a survey <br /> of other nearby site influences shall be included in this report, <br /> such as irrigation canals, creeks, and rivers . <br /> A Di%ision of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
