I don't think we need any stockpile material testing(may.;be hold). However, samples collected,
underneath pipes and sumps must be analyzed.
Thanks, 9,•
Maqsood Ali, PE
Principal Engineer
ti.
_....._..Technical Studies, Inc.
2696 Screech Owl Way
Sacramento, CA 95834
Ph: (9 16)419-1900
T=ax: (866)705-4778
www.tachnical-studies.com
From: Micah Smith {mailto:micah.smith@cd)uk.com] ; r
Sent:Tuesday,April 07, 2009 12:34 PM
To: Maqsood Ali
Subject: composite sample i
Maqsood
It was brought to my attention that the Stockpile Composite sample c:ohsists of mostly small rocks. For the TPH-g
and Metals analysis we use very samll volumes of soil and will likely not get a!very representitive results for
these analyses. This basically means that for these analyses we are analyzing one or two small rocks choose
randomly from the composite we created, ft you would like we can knish these samples prior to creating the
composite. But there is an extra cost involved. It is a$50 charge per sampleiand since we would have to crush
all four of the samples separately it would be$200 dollars extra. How would you like to proceed.
Thanks
Micah Smith
Project Manager
Curtis and Tompkins, Ltd
2323 Fifth Street
Berkeley CA 94710
510.204.2223
www.curtisandtompkins.com
A/R/)MO A r%f
ij i
