•
June 26, 1992
. ARCO Service Station No. 549, Stockton, California
•
WORK IN PROGRESS
k i vaporextraction-test.utilizingthe-three vapor-extraction wells was.,performed,on,Marcli
,tes. erformed to..evaluate -vapor extraction-.,as.-a soil...remediatiosi
alternative-. The report describing--the-test,procedures-and .results.will.be submifted_to7
5ARCO under separate cover.
__--- --
Based on the benzene and xylene concentrations detected in ground-water samples collected
from monitoring well MW-1, a quarterly ground-water monitoring program will be initiated
in the first quarter of 1992.
LIMITATIONS
. This report was prepared in accordance with generally accepted standards of environmental
geological practice in California at the time this investigation was performed. This
investigation was conducted solely to evaluate environmental conditions of the soil and
ground water with respect to hydrocarbons identified in soil during previous work. No soil
engineering or geotechnical recommendations are implied or should be inferred. Evaluation
of the geologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation is made from a
limited number of observation points. Subsurface conditions may vary away from the data
points available. Additional work, including further subsurface investigation, can reduce the
inherent uncertainties associated with this type of investigation.
• -VW4-4 11
