The ozone
sparge system has been put into operation and monthly operation and maintenance is
being performed. Quarterly reports documenting the performance of the OS system are
submitted quarterly. They include a summary of remediation system performance, and an
evaluation of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations detected in groundwater
monitoring wells to determine whether OS is an effective technique for reducing/removing
petroleum hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater beneath the site.
Site groundwater monitoring and sampling will continue to be performed on a quarterly
basis using the existing well network. SECOR will produce quarterly groundwater
monitoring and system efficiency reports summarizing field and analytical data.
The off-Site monitoring wells described in the September 15, 2003 work plan will be
installed in a separate phase of field work. This installation is anticipated to take place in
September.
If there are any questions, please call us at (916) 861-0400.
Sincerely,
SECOR International, Incorporated 0 GE
CD
DOc
M.CAVAN HSHRICH
Mya R ell M.
