• CPT Investigation Work Plan <br /> CAM B R I A <br /> BP Stockton, California <br /> August 12, 1999 <br /> Well Installation <br /> The well network will be reviewed and additional well locations will be evaluated based on the results <br /> of this CPT investigation, the well survey and groundwater monitoring Well installation, including <br /> the replacement of well MW-1, will be described in a work plan following review of these data <br /> Feasibility Testing <br /> The effectiveness of recent source removal activities, which included replacement of the tanks and <br /> piping, excavation of more than 1,000 tons of soil and extraction of 15,000 gallons of water, will be <br /> assessed based on four quarters of groundwater monitoring The impact of source removal on <br /> groundwater concentrations will be integral to determining the feasibility testing options for the site <br /> Concurrent with the monitoring activities, a health-based risk assessment is planned to determine <br /> clean-up goals and evaluate site conditions Following review of the monitoring data and health-based <br /> risk assessment results, a feasibility testing work plan will be submitted <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> Upon receiving written work pian approval from the SJCDEH, permits will be acquired and the field <br /> work will be scheduled The investigation report will be submitted approximately six weeks after <br /> completing the field work <br /> ATTACHMENTS <br /> Figure 1 —Vicinity Map <br /> Figure 2—Site Plan <br /> Appendix A—Background Data <br /> Appendix B—Standard Field Procedures for Cone Penetration Testing and Sampling <br /> H\British Petroleum111193-Stockton%Work P1an\Draft CPT Investigation Work Plan doc <br /> 7 <br />
