Submitted the Notice of Intent(NOI)and draft Monitoring and Reporting Program(MRP)to RWQCB <br /> on January 7, 2011. In email correspondence on January 18, 2011, RWQCB provided minor <br /> comments/changes to the NOI/MRP and their approval for the pilot-scale ozone/hydrogen peroxide <br /> (03/1-12O2) injection test to proceed without a permit. The revised NOI (signed by the RP) was <br /> resubmitted to RWQCB in late January 2011. <br /> 2. Submitted well permit applications to SJCEHD for the installation of proposed wells IW-1A/B <br /> through IW-4A/B and MW-7 on January 31, 2011. Permits were issued February 4, 2011. <br /> 3. Installed wells IW-1A/B through IW-4A/B and MW-7 on March 7 and 8, 2011. <br /> 4. In preparation to begin the 03/H2O2 injection pilot test, Stratus collected baseline groundwater <br /> samples from select wells(in accordance with the MRP)on March 31, 2011. <br /> 5. In accordance with SJCEHD-approved reduced groundwater monitoring and sampling plan, no <br /> groundwater monitoring or sampling activities were conducted during the first quarter 2011. <br /> WORK PROPOSED FOR NEXT QUARTER (Second Quarter 2011): <br /> 1. Conduct semi-annual groundwater monitoring and sampling activities (scheduled for April 25, <br /> 2011). During this event, wells MW-1 through MW-7 will be gauged, purged, and sampled. <br /> Coordinated sampling with the adjacent former BP site, located at 3202 Hammer Lane, is planned. <br /> 2. Begin approved 90-day pilot-scale 03/H2O2 injection testing.
