Install
Polylok, Inc. PL-122 Effluent Filter on outlet of tank.
3. The influent line from the house should be installed so that the invert flowline is at the
base of the footing (4"tightline traverses through the base of the footing). From this point,
tightline to septic tank is a grade of one-inch fall to the inlet of the 1,200 gallon septic tank.
Tank must be installed at least 5 ft from building footing. Three inches of soil cover over the
tank (15" Invert depth b.g. at outlet).
4. 4" dia. Sch. 40 PVC installed from septic tank outlet, run at grade of 1%to four
compartment Distribution box (D-Box). Nothing is to be stored on, or driven over in the area
of the primary filter bed.
5. After filter bed excavation, add two-inches of sawdust organic material over the entire
filter bed area and rake into the top two inches of soil. Total volume of sawdust needed =
120 cubic ft. Call for EHD inspection (209) 468-3420 three days before completion.
6. Connect three, 4" dia. Sch. 40 PVC tightlines to D-box as noted in illustrated configuration,
with 1" drop to each of three perforated leachlines.
7. Connect three 4" dia. Sch. 40 PVC perforated leachline pipe, 5' on center, as oriented on
Plans. Run perforated pipe level and cap ends of each pipe to force equal distribution of
effluent into filter bed. Filter bed Requirement: 3 bedroom = 240 LFLL x 3 SF = 720 sf.
Filter bed = 36' E-W and 20 ' N-S = 720 sf.
8. 100% replacement/reserve area is directly east of the primary filter bed. Replacement
area is also rectangular shaped and same area as primary filter bed.
CHESNEY CONSULTING
Don Chesney, PE
Civil Engineer
P.O.
