Two underground storage tanks (USTs) were removed
from this site on September 1, 1989. The lab results from analysis of the soil
samples collected beneath the LISTS when they were removed were not
acceptable because of the lab method used, although Total Petroleum
Hydrocarbons as diesel were detected.
The site is being investigated due to documented pesticide contamination and
the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) is the lead
agency providing oversight of the investigation. In a letter dated April 3, 1995,
the CVRWQCB agreed to be the lead agency for both the pesticide and
underground tank cleanups. Please contact Wendy Wyels at that agency, for
status of the investigation and cleanup. You may write her at 3443 Routier Road,
Sacramento, CA, 95827 or telephone her at (916) 255-3135.
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
