The soil sample was collected from a 4 to 6 inch deep hole full of
water.
KOP-5M was a composite sample of surface soil containing more of the white crust material
with a moderate ammonia odor. Again, this material was exuding from the base crack of the
warehouse door.
KOP-61v1 was a grab sample of a grey surface crust found between the railroad tracks. This area
is off the Koppel Terminal property and the crust material can be seen along several hundred
feet of the railroad tracks to the north and south. This sample was extracted by the labotatory
and analyzed for general minerals.
KOP-714 was a surface water grab sample collected with a teflon dipper from the middle of a
large puddle of standing water on the north end of the site.
KOP-8M was a surface soil grab sample from the edge of the large water puddle from which
KOP-7M was collected. The soil sample was saturated.
KOP-9M was a grab soil sample collected from 4 to 8 inches deep from the bottom of a 3-foot
deep drainage ditch. The ditch was next to a large above-ground storage tank.
3.0 ANALYTICAL RESULTS
Table 1 and 2 provides a summary of the analytical results of the split samples.
n,nit.:+PwactrsanxCO•xovvn wp 2 „ „
