Weston Ranch Towne Center,Stockton, CA D47223.01page 4
August 21, 2006
shed revealed concentrations that appear to be typical of background concentrations and appear to
' be below typical regulatory action levels. The analytical results of the soil samples revealed non-
detectable concentrations for SVOCs. The analytical results of the soil samples for pesticides
revealed low concentrations in the shallow soils. Low levels of chlorinated pesticides were detected
in soil samples from soil borings B-3 and B-4 at a depth of 3 feet bsg. Soil samples collected from
B-3 and B-4 at a depth of 3 feet detected DDT,DDE and DDD at concentrations of 0.086 and 0.13
mg/kg, 0.062 and 0.15 mg/kg, 0.042 mg/kg and non-detect, respectively. Alpha-Chlordane and
' gamma-Chlordane were detected in B-4 at 3 feet bsg at 0.058 and 0.035 mg/kg,respectively. The
concentrations are below Preliminary Remediation Goals (DRGs) and Total Threshold Limit
Concentrations (TTLC). The analytical results of the soil samples obtained from a depth of 5 feet
' indicated non-detectable concentrations for pesticides.
Following completion of the soil sampling, the soil borings were backfrlledwith a neat cement grout
' consistent with our SOPS.
The location of the soil borings are shown on the attached Drawing 3. The laboratory results are
' summarized in Tables 1,2 and 3. The boring logs and the laboratory analytical reports are attached
to this report.
' Suspected Burn Pit(612 Henry Long Boulevard)
The soils in the area of the suspected bum pit location were sampled (BP-IBP-2) to form a
' composite sample. This composite soil sample was collected from the near surface soils to assess
the potential environmental impact from a suspected bum pit. The soil sample was analyzed for
' organochlorine pesticides, organophosphate pesticides and CAM 17 total metals utilizing EPA Test
Methods 8081, 8141 and 6010/7471. The sample was also analyzed for Total Recoverable
Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TRPH).
' The analytical results of the soil sample revealed non-detectable concentrations for TRPH and
pesticides with no dilution. The concentrations of the metals in the soil samples are consistent with
' the metal concentrations detected in other soil samples from this investigation and are below typical
regulatory action levels and are probably background for the area.
The location of the soil sample is shown on the attached Drawing 4. The laboratory results are
summarized in Table 4. The laboratory analytical report is attached to this report.
Agriculture Fields Soil Samnline
On May 3,2006,thirteen(13)soil samples were randomly selected from the vacant fields at the 55.5
acre Site. The soil samples were taken from the near surface (surface to a depth of 0.5 feet). The
soil samples were analyzed for organochlorine pesticides and organophosphate pesticides and CAM
' 17 total metals utilizing EPA Test Methods 8081, 8141 and 6010/7471.
