Ground water reportedly underlies the
PM site at a depth of approximately 65 feet below ground surface. Bear Creek is
approximately 1 mile south of the site.
GROUND .,ATTR 0-A`FLING
E
The analytical results of the ground water samples collected from the
domestic and irrigation water wells within a 500-foot radius of the site are
presented in Table 1 - Analytical Results of Ground Water Sampling, and are
included in Appendix A.
' The data indicates that ground water in the wells does not contain
hydrocarbon contamination above State of California DrinkinWater
;r
Trace levels of benzene were found in all four wells, as wastoluene inaallrdsbut
Well No. 5272. Reportedly seven USTs exist at 5401 East Harney Land, Bailey's Nursery and
;.
one UST is located at the cemetery located at the northeast corner of Highway 99
and East Harney Lane. It should be noted that each of these surrounding a
4
properties are apparently located hydrologically upgradieitt of the site,
1 i
