- <br />' Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2005 <br /> SIERRA LUMBER MANUFACTURERS (Case #2) <br />' 375 West Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Bob Long of Sierra Lumber, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has <br />' prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 375 West Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, <br /> California The scope of work included monitoring and sampling three on-site ground water <br /> monitoring wells,submission of monitoring and analytical data to the State Water Resources Control <br />' Board's GeoTracker information management system, and preparation of this report The site and <br /> surrounding area are illustrated on Figure I Structures, soil borings, and monitoring well locations <br />' are illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley <br />' Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for the subsurface investigation of <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites Background information, including details of previous site <br /> assessment work, is presented in Appendix A <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> t • Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by the CVRWQCB for the <br /> investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites and by the San Joaquin County Environmental <br />' Health Department (EHD) for the sampling of ground water monitoring wells Ground water <br /> monitoring and sampling procedures were outlined in the AGE-prepared Preliminary Site <br /> Investigation Work Plan, dated 27 December 2004 and approved by the EHD in a letter dated <br />' 23 February 2005 <br />' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 29 September 2005,the depths to ground water in monitoring wells MW-9 through MW-11 were <br /> measured from the tops of the well casings to the nearest 0 01-foot utilizing a Solinst water level <br /> meter_Ground water elevation in each well was calculated by subtracting the measured depth to_ <br />' ground water from the surveyed casing elevation (Table 1) <br /> After water levels were measured,approximately 8 to 9 gallons of water(a minimum of three casing <br />' water volumes per well) were purged from wells MW-9 through MW-11 using a Waterra inertia <br /> pump and dedicated tubing Ground water temperature, pH, and conductivity were measured at <br /> regular intervals for stabilization during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Field sheets and <br /> data are included in Appendix B Purged water was stored on-site in properly labeled, Department <br />' of Transportation (DOT)-approved 55-gallon drums pending proper disposal <br />' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
