2 3 6 Waste Stora a and Dis osal <br /> s <br /> rWaste was not generated during the CPT investigation The waste soil generated during the <br /> drilling of MW-8A and MW-813 was stockpiled on plastic sheeting, sampled, and covered, pending <br /> ' analytical results and proper disposition Equipment ansate water and purged groundwater was <br /> contained in two, 55-gallon drums for temporary on-site storage, pending proper disposition <br /> ' From the soil stockpile, Ramage Environmental collected four soil samples into stainless steel <br /> sample sleeves The samples were sealed with Teflone film and plastic end caps, labeled and <br /> ' transported in an iced cooler with chain-of-custody documentation to Kiff Kiff combined the four <br /> samples into one, and analyzed the composite sample for TPH-as-gasoline, BTEX and MTBE by <br /> EPA Method 82608 and for total lead by EPA Method 6010 Since none of the analyzed <br /> compounds were detected in the composite soil sample or in the groundwater samples collected <br /> from MW-8A and MW-813, the waste soil was spread out on-site and the wastewater was <br /> discharged to the land surface at the site As such, off-site disposal of the investigation-derived <br /> waste was not required <br /> 1 <br /> t <br /> • 11 <br />
