v
Eggimans Hydraulic
If further site evaluation reveals any of the chemicals of concern to be a significant
problem, it may be necessary to construct additional monitoring wells and/or monitoring
well clusters in a transect of or perpendicular to the MTBE plume.
EHD requested the sampling of the nearest water supply well (Well No. 11)by letter
dated September 19, 2000. EHD has no records of Well No. 11 being sampled.
According to a Well Survey report dated April 9, 1999,the nearest well to this site was
located approximately 800 feet to the west (Well No. 11, Attachment 1 of the report).
EHD again recommends that a groundwater sample be collected from this well and
analyzed for all the above hydrocarbon fuel constituents.
ATC recommends additional investigation be conducted at the site to further assess.the
lateral extent of impacted groundwater and to conduct quarterly monitoring and sampling
of the existing groundwater wells onsite. EHD.agrees with this recommendation.
Submit a Work Plan to EHD to further assess the vertical and lateral extent of
contamination at this site by June 17, 2002. Please include a site conceptual model with
maps and cross-sections showing the site geology, contaminant distribution, contaminant
source point, and migration pathways.
