A well screen length in the air sparge well will extend from a depth of <br /> 60 to 62.5 feet bgs. Above the screen will be a sand layer from 57 to 60 feet bgs, a bentonite <br /> layer from 54 to 57 feet bgs, and grout filling from 0 to 54 feet bgs. A traffic-rated well box will <br /> be installed flush with the surface. <br /> Sample Analysis <br /> All soil and groundwater samples from the soil borings will be immediately placed in a cooler <br /> with ice and delivered under chain-of-custody documentation to a State-certified analytical <br /> laboratory. Soil and groundwater samples will be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as <br /> gasoline (TPHg), total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHd), benzene, toluene, <br /> ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) by EPA Methods 8015M/8021B, and oxygenate fuel <br /> additives by EPA method 8260B. <br /> Report Preparation <br /> Upon completion of the investigative activities, a summary report will be prepared for submittal <br /> to the EHD and Regional Water Quality Control Board. The report will include a description of <br /> all field activities, laboratory analytical results, and welliboring logs. <br /> All work described in this workplan will be performed under the direction of a California <br /> Registered Professional Engineer. All work will be performed in accordance with ATC's Site <br /> Safety Plan (SSP) and Quality Control/Quality Assurance Plan already on file with PHS/EHD <br /> for this site. <br /> Proiected Schedule <br /> Once approval of this:addendum has been received, ATC will confirm a schedule for drilling <br /> activities.
