Weber Street, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Subject: Summary Report, Subsurface Investigation for Eggiman, Andrew and Edith Trust, <br /> for the Property at 1112 East Harding Way, Stockton, California <br /> ' Dear Mr. Sasson: <br /> Smith Technology Corporation (acquired by ATC Associates, Inc.) has prepared this workplan, <br /> on behalf of Eggiman, Andrew and Edith Trust, to summarize subsurface investigation activities <br /> performed at the above referenced site. This work was performed to assess current subsurface <br /> conditions at the property in the vicinity of former on-site underground fuel storage tanks. The <br /> ' activities performed at the project site are described in detail in the following paragraphs. <br /> SITE LOCATION <br /> ' The site is located on the south side of East Harding Way in Stockton, California, as shown on <br /> Figure 1. The property is located in a mixed residential, commercial, and industrial area. The site <br /> is currently occupied by a hydraulic repair facility. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> ' In April 1987 SEMCO removed and disposed of two 1,000-gallon re lar gasoline underground <br /> storage tanks (USTs), associated piping, and fuel dispenser from the locations shown on Figure 2. <br /> A soil sample was collected from the end of each tank at approximately 17 feet below ground <br /> surface. Analytical testing indicated the collected samples contained detectable concentrations of <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon constituents.
