A S S O C I A T E S I N C
i
Historical depth to groundwater information obtained from DWR and California Water Service
r Company. The historical highest depth to water for the vicinity of the site occurred in 1984 and
1987 where depth to water in the vicinity of the site ranged from approximately 21 to 48 feet bgs
(Table 1, Figure 3). Four of the monitoring points nearest the subject site indicate the water table
' was between 31 feet and 48 feet bgs in 1987.
Although ATC did not perform a Risk Based Corrective Action Study or utilize a contaminant
r fate and transport model (Vleach), nonetheless, based on available information, it can be assumed
that there is a potential that groundwater may have been affected by residual soil contamination
while groundwater was at its highest elevation between 1984 and 1987. However, the site's low
rpetroleum hydrocarbon concentrations observed at a depth of 30 feet bgs suggest that potential
groundwater impaction, if any, would not appear to be significant. Additionally, the nearest
groundwater receptor is a well approximately 800 feet upgradient of the site which is screened
' from 79 to 83 feet bgs, 188 to 191 feet bgs, 194 to 220 feet bgs, and 240 to 250 feet bgs.
ATC recommends no further action at this site. This site should be evaluated by PHS/EHD
' personnel for closure as a low-risk site.
1
1 .
1
i I
i
1
r
r
w:197736reportslwelsurv.doc 4
1
