February 23, 1998 a 12,000 gallon diesel UST
was removed. October 9, 1998 three gas;UST's were removed,<a 6000 gallon, a 8000 gallon, and a 10,000 a
gallon, There are some active diesel AST's at the site but I don't recall the number or size. There are 3 active
gas UST's, a 4000 gallon, a 10,000 gallon and a 12,000 gallon.
The groundwater flow was intially predominantly northeast and has recently been northwest. The contamination
has spread over the entire 3.77 acre Storage"Pro site to the north of:the site. Last year monitoring wells were '
installed further northeast, north and northwest(MW13AB, MW13C). A"C"zone well(MW12C)was also placed
on the Storage Pro property. There were concentrations of MTBE in MW13AB, MW13C and MW12C. Currently, I
MW13AB and MW13C cannot be found. The CVRWQCB participated in a meeting concerning this site in August l
2007. The plume is undefined to the northwest and vertically and the contamination has migrated over a large
area. We discussed remedial options with Stratus, the consultant, at the meeting and are waiting for their site
conceptual model and remedial plan. I don't think CVRWQCB would agree that the plume is defined, shrinking or
immobile and that the site should be closed.
f
i
t
I
51112008
