Work Plan For Additional Groundwater Delineation and Ozone Microsparge System Installation,Tosca(Former BP)Station No.]1195
September 19,2002
PROJECT STAFF
Mr. Douglas J. Lee, a Registered Geologist in the State of California (R.G. No. 6882) will
provide technical oversight and review of the work. Mr. David Vossler, project manager, will
supervise implementation of field and office operations. GR employs a staff of geologists,
engineers, and technicians who will assist with the project.
SCHEDULE
Implementation of the proposed scope of work will commence upon receipt of regulatory approval.
GR proposes the following schedule for the installation of additional groundwater monitoring
wells and the ozone microsparge system:
1. An encroachment permit must be obtained from the City of Lathrop prior to installation of
the offsite monitoring wells.
2. The proposed monitoring wells and sparge points are anticipated to be installed by December
31, 2002,pending approval by the City of Lathrop and the EHD.
3. The ozone system is anticipated to be operational within one month of the installation of the
sparge points, depending on contractor availability.
4. A monitoring well installation and ozone system installation and startup report is expected to
be submitted by February 15, 2003.
Adherence to this proposed schedule is dependent upon acquisition of offsite access and
encroachment permits. Unforeseen delays in the issuance of these items may necessitate that the
schedule be modified. GR will inform the EHD of any changes to the proposed schedule.
REFERENCES
Gettler-Ryan Inc., 2002, Interim Corrective Action Plan, Tosco (Former BP) Service Station No.
11195, 16500 South I-5, Lathrop CA.,Dated August 28, 2002.
..., 2002, Monitoring Well Installation Report, Tosco (Former BP) Service Station No. 11195,
16500 South I-5, Lathrop CA., Dated July 24, 2002.
140193.14 6
