Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
Dear Mr. Sanfilippo:
The California Department of Transportation appreciates the opportunity to review the proposed
repurposing of an existing 87,075 square foot warehouse for the preparation and distribution of j
paper packaging product. The project is located at 3932 Budweiser Court, Stockton. There will
be a single shift of thirty employees on Monday through Friday and ten trucks per day. No STAA
trucks will be used at this site. The Department has the following comments:
I
• Please provide to Caltrans for review the project's trip generation and trip distribution
based on the current Institute of Transportation Engineering(ITE), 10t1i edition, 2017.
• Please provide to Caltrans for review the project's off-tracking analysis at SR-88/Piccoli
Road intersection for all turn movements based on the longest type of truck this facility
will use.
• The Department recommends that the County collect impact fees on a fair share basis from
this development toward future improvements to the SR-88/Piecoli Road intersection and
the SR-99/Waterloo interchange.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss our comments in more detail, please contact
Nicholas Fung at(20.9)948-7190 or myself at(209) 941-1921.
Sincerely
TOM DUMAS, CHIEF
OFFICE OF METROPOLITAN PLANNING
"Caltrans improves mobility across California"
