The <br /> LODI, facility will be unmanned and accessible twenty-four(24) hours per day,seven (7) days <br /> MRIPON, , per week.No structures are proposed.A retention and will be utilized for storm water. <br /> RIPON, 1� P p p <br /> STOCKTON, <br /> TRACY, AIRPORT LAND USE COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br /> AND <br /> THE COUNTY OF SAN Thisro ect is in the Stockton Metropolitan Airport Zone 7a. <br /> JOAQUIN p p <br /> SJCOG, as ALUC, finds that this project is not compatible with the 2018 San Joaquin <br /> County Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan(ALUCP)(littys://www.sicog.or /Ag LUC). <br /> Retention ponds are a prohibited land use in the ALUCP as they are a potential bind <br /> attractant and,therefore, a potential hazard to flight. ALUC recommends reclassifying <br /> the retention basin as a dry well that will not hold water for longer than 48 hours.Please <br /> refer to FAA Advisory Circular 150/5200-33B "Hazardous Wildlife Attractants On or <br /> Near Airports" Please note Section 2-3 Water Management Facilities and Section 4 on <br /> FAA Notification. Note: Jurisdictions <br /> determine if the following standards and conditions apply to this project. <br /> 1. New land uses that may cause visual, electronic, or increased bird strike hazards <br /> to aircraft in flight shall not be permitted within any airport's influence area. <br /> Specific characteristics to be avoided include: <br /> a. Glare or distracting lights which could be mistaken for airport lights. <br /> Reflective materials are not permitted to be used in structures or signs <br /> (excluding traffic directing signs). <br /> b. Sources of dust,steam, or smoke which may impair pilot visibility. <br /> c. Sources of electrical interference with aircraft communications or <br /> navigation. No transmissions which would interfere with aircraft radio <br /> communications or navigational signals are permitted. <br />
