NRC Equity Fund 1
9.0 SECURITY
All cannabis activities are required to implement sufficient security measures to deter theft.
These include measures to prevent individuals from loitering onsite and to ensure cannabis
and cannabis products onsite are stored in a secured and locked location.
9.1 Adherence to Highest Levels of Safety
Security measures for its cultivation facilities adhere to or exceed the highest levels
of safety and security within the industry. The Applicant (herein and hereinafter
"Company") will blend various security technologies (including cameras, access
control systems, bar coding, etc.), physical devices (security fencing, access point
bollards, vaults, etc.), personnel, operating procedures and training to ensure the
Company properties will stand at the security forefront for all others to follow.
The Company has an understanding of cannabis production and general security
principles. This has led us to opt for surveillance cameras covering every portion of
our facilities, including all materials cited for disposal. The Company will use access
controls and surveillance cameras, the footage will be monitored for anomalies
within the area profile. All recorded footage will be recorded and stored onsite as
well as at an off-site location for access by the Company and appropriate law
enforcement agencies for up to 120 concurrent hours.
An unaltered copy will be kept longer if there is a pending investigation, with such
copy retained until there is a notification that the recording is no longer needed by
the investigating entity. After 120 hours or such date the recording is deemed no
longer needed for investigation, data will be transferred and recorded to CD/DVD
and stored.
9.2 Facility Cameras
The Company will deploy cameras that are vandal-resistant and high definition,
with progressive scan sensors. Cameras will feature integrated infrared (IR) LEDs
to provide uniform illumination in the dark, even at 0 Lux, up to a maximum
distance of 200 feet. Cameras also feature automatic day/night functionality with
removable IR cut filter that switches to day/night modes depending on the light
level.
9.2.1 Cultivation Cameras
Because of the documented harmful effects of basic IR light on plant
growth, a highly specialized mini-bullet camera is available that uses a
wavelength infrared LED, which produces a glow that is undetectable to the
human eye. This device offers an effective IR distance between 16 to 26 feet
and is also waterproof. This camera will help reduce the effects of infrared
on crops.
Page 29 1 54
