NRC Equity Fund 1
9.19 Intrusion Detection System (IDS)
A primary burglar alarm system will be used to prevent and detect intrusion
attempts, diversion, theft or loss of marijuana using commercial grade equipment.
Door contacts will be installed at every exterior perimeter door and interior motion
detectors will be located at several interior locations to augment the door contacts.
System keypads will be located at the front entrance area. Doors that are
emergency exit only or are not part of everyday usage will be monitored at all times
via the primary burglar alarm system. Note that all exterior doors, with no
exceptions, will be alarmed at all times via the access control system.
• Panic alarm buttons will be installed in areas that will activate and automatically
send a panic alarm signal to the Company that in turn, will immediately notify the
law enforcement agency having jurisdiction for response. Audible/Visual devices
will be strategically located in each facility to alert staff of a situation requiring
immediate attention.
9.20 Lighting
The lighting at all the exterior doors and walk areas, around the parking lots and
grounds and at the fence and gate will meet or exceed the requirements for Security
Lighting.
