The proposed development project includes:
1. A three-bedroom, two bath, single family home.
2. The OWTS usage for the future development with potential average daily flow of 420 gallons per day
of wastewater for each site.
Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings:
1. The SSNL Study supports the suitability for standard OWTS usage for the development project,
pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d), provided the existing
OWTS and 100% replacement areas can meet all required minimum setbacks.
2. The water sample data show the well being utilized for drinking water has an elevated level of 1,2-
Dibromo-3-chloropropane (DBCP) of 0.29 ug/L and may not be a suitable source for the potable water
supply for new development. A potable water supply that can provide a consistent source of safe and
clean water adequate for human consumption, cooking, and sanitary purposes for the proposed
project prior to the issuance of building permits (2016 CA Plumbing Code, Section 601.2).
If you have any questions please contact Naseem Ahmed, Registered Environmental Health Specialist,
REHS, at nahmed@sj org or (209) 468-3436.
Micha1 I Kith, REHS
Program Coordinator
C: Petralogix Engineering, Inc
1868 E.
