1.0 SAFETY & HEALTH PLAN <br /> The TreaTek-CRA Company's (TreaTek) plan of action for the J.R. Simplot <br /> Company Facility Project will consist of several objectives being accomplished in <br /> an orderly consistent manner. Those objectives are characterized in the following <br /> areas: <br /> o Planning and Organization <br /> o Site Characterization <br /> ' o Monitoring <br /> o Personal Protection <br /> ' o Site Control/Work Practices <br /> o Decontamination <br /> o Emergencies <br /> o Training <br /> 1.1 Planning_and Organization <br /> A <br /> workable plan and its organization is paramount in a successful Safe <br /> productive project. Planning is the first step to anticipate potential health hazards <br /> to minimize the risk to workers. Our Site Specific Plan will be specific and include <br /> organizational structure; a work plan outlining objectives and concerns and <br /> responsibilities. <br /> 1.2 Site Characterization <br /> Site Characterization is directly related to worker protection. Our qualified <br /> ' personnel will review surveyable, monitoring results and other laboratory <br /> information in defining hazards. We may utilize outside experts/consultants to <br /> assist us in accurately determining conditions. <br /> ' 1 <br />
