Facility
Please Process Immediately
Dear Ms. Turkett:
Attached is an application for a permit for an additional monitoring well cluster at the
Nestle facility. These wells will be installed as part of the current phase of drilling by
Pitcher Drilling Company. The wells will be located on the Regal Almond property,
adjacent to Nestle on the west side of Industrial Avenue (see attached map). One
shallow ("B" zone), one intermediate ("A" zone), and one deep ("C" or clay zone) well
will be installed. The landowner and Nestle have negotiated a site access agreement
which is attached. The wells will serve as monitor wells and potential extraction wells.
Drilling is currently scheduled to begin during the week of December 30, 1991.
Thank you for your prompt consideration. I have enclosed a check for $89 for the
permit fee. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call. I will keep you
apprised of our drilling schedule.
Very truly yours,
Sara R.
